Hi, no worries. I have seen others link this site before so I just remembered that is all. Our information is collaborative and I learn from the forum just as much as you! It is a good resource of various old manuals to check. For ibm as well as others General IBM http://www.bitsavers.org/pdf/ibm/ ...

Re: [WTB] IBM Unsaver & M15 & Beamspring

Thanks But I am not satisfied with your suggestion. As for the displaywriter beamspring, I want to buy nearly new(no cracked body or keycap or rust). Thank you for your suggestion. May God bless you! I understand. Mine has zero rust and there is only one keycap that had a crack. This is as best as ...

I'm planning on selling my Displaywriter Beamspring (among all my other keyboards), maybe you might be interested. Original top label still in tact, zero rust on the plate, replaced foam to reduce wobbleness. Ran every part of the Beamspring mechanism through ultrasonic cleaning. Unconverted, but or...

Damn that's some thicc bass clicc, and that's a sexy keypad for 60%. Any indication/inscription on the switches that can guide us on ID'ing the switch? Pretty sure it's one of these switches, maybe you can remember its switch internals, since I'm genuinely curious which switch this is: https://deskt...

Re: What exactly does the blue switch in the 3178 keyboards?

My guess is that it would have changed all the characters on the terminal's display to uppercase (hence the legends that make it seem like another caps lock). Dual/Mono Case Switch. When in the Mono Case (A) position, only uppercase characters are displayed. When in the Dual Case (A,a) position, up...

Re: Alps SKCC Keycaps on IBM Beam Spring Sliders

How tight or loose is the fit ? Perfect fit. I would even go as far as to say it fits better than the original keycaps (since the original one is a bit lose vertically I believe) Fitting it back to the original SKCC switch still takes the same effort as before. Fitting the keycap How each keycap so...

Alps SKCC Keycaps on IBM Beam Spring Sliders

So I wanted to have the rough keycap texture on my Beamspring (since they're pretty worn out), so I plan on using the MT3 /dev/tty keycaps on it with the 3D printed MX mount slider (Thanks darkcruix :) ), and while waiting for the MX mount to be 3D printed, I tried to mount one of the SKCC keycaps o...

Also am interested in the M122, mainly for the terminal, so you got PM

I would'nt consider the cheap HHKB with something like the F. With the M before a full restoration - okay. HHKB > F > M. Model M is too stiff. Model F are lighter but come in awkward layouts (unless you're lucky enough to have a Kishsaver or live in the year 2042 when Ellipse has finally delivered).
