I have a Model M that I could clean up and convert to USB. It'd be $50 if you're interested (no factory warranty and no windows key though :P). I'll send you a photo if this is something you'd might like. From the ebay photos it looked like it was in fine shape but I need to take it apart and check ...

Buckling spring keyboards

Hey! does anybody have a buckling spring keyboard that they are willing to sell? I have a budget of about $100, but if you have a custom (do those even exist?) buckling spring keyboard I'm willing to spend more. Thanks!

TL;DR for highly sought-after items you need to invest time or money to get them, and sometimes you need both.

heh, that was totally my point, too.
on which post? what you said was:
haha, that's a good one! why not 'for less than $20'? And don't forget to ask for a free G80-5000 while you're ...

Well, you can likely get one for $5...
...if you spend two years going to at least one garage sale and flea market a week and are super lucky.

Or you can buy one for the going rate online. And fwiw it’s possible (and even likely) that prices will eventually go down again.

That said, you can get ...

obviously some of you guys aren't used to sarcasm. Look it up in the dictionary.

Just cause you sell your stuff at horrendous prices there is nothing bad with asking for a fair deal.

Based means cool. If I thought it was basic, I would have just bought a model M.

Anybody selling an IBM Space saving Keyboard (SSK)?

The IBM SSK is such a great keyboard, but there is only one person selling it. is anybody willing to sell/know about a listing for an SSK for $200 USD or less?

This is a repost because the old one was just talking about the word "based."

Weird qume keyboard found

https://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/IiEAAOSw ... -l1600.jpg
The listing says it is a "Vintage Qume Terminal Keyboard QVT-101+" but I can't find many references to it on the internet. Does anybody know about this keyboard? how much is it worth and what are the switches like?
