Re: Alps Lubricant FOUND!

It would be highly interesting to compare this NyoGel 760g with other wet lubes like 320X and 20Xg0 which previously not been very highly regarded by some, I myself have quiet enjoyed at least Tribosys on Alps but yet to try an entire board with 205g0, but I'm sure it would feel amazing.

No to both questions.
Thats's too bad. How about different functions on hold/tap?
So for example if I tap Caps Lock it acts normal, but if I hold it becomes Alt, can that be done?

Re: XT/AT/PS2/Terminal to USB Converter with NKRO

Is there anyway to rename the controller from "Soarer's Keyboard converter (Soarer)"? It would be nice to have the actually keyboard manufacturer and model name instead.

Can I control the Num Lock or Scroll Lock leds and use them as layer indicators?

Re: Easy way of applying RO-59?

Bag lube with ro59? It feels like it would dry quick in the bag? I want to apply several layers so if it's possible to bag lube it would be great, but I only have one vial of it.

Easy way of applying RO-59?

Let's get straight too it, I'm lazy! Just lubing with normal lube is time consuming, applying several layers of ro-59 is crazy.

So before torturing myself for several evenings I just wanted to ask and see if there is any faster way of applying it to Alps?

Re: Do I need to screw mod my Model M?

Thank you for all, very helpful replies.

After further investigation it's only on the outer part of the numpad the plastic plate if flexing.
All guides I've seen have covered modding all rivets, could I do a partial screw mod?

Do I need to screw mod my Model M?

Guys - I've got a Model M (my first) which seams to be in great condition, but I just took it apart and a bunch of the plastic rivets have fallen off. After reading a long thread about screw/bolt modding here on DT I felt like it could be a long a tedious project (especially the drilling part and ge...

Re: IBM Model M BT-USB controller conversion kits

Thank you for your reply. I'm only familiar with QMK and already have a "default" set of TapDance, Macros etc., I use of my board, so it would be very easy for me if it was available. But if your firmware can handle the likes of TapDance and Macros without too much hustling I could off corse use tha...

Convert Model M to QMK?

What alternatives are there to convert Model M to QMK?
Is there any custom pcbs or is my only option to wire it up myself?

Great TKL Alps keysets?

Hi guys! I'm tempted to build a TKL-board with SKCM Brown but I don't have a matching keyset. I've been reading and googling a lot and I was under the impression that my two best options were either a SGI- or a Dell AT101 keyset, but maybe there are other, nice and thick Alps keyset out there that w...
