Re: Input Club Beamspring-like? new board

The switch looks cool but just keep in mind that a kickstarter is not a pre-order its a donation / pledge with a "reward".

Now input club has been around for years and chances are it will be fine, but its something to keep in mind.

Re: Modern keyboards from a recycling center

Why throws that kind of thing away. There are some low profile switches there that cannot be more than a few years old as they only came out recently.

Honestly , some people have too much money, they should give it to me so i can spend it on crisps and beer.

Nice.

Take a peak inside , you may see a happy surprise.

Some M50s ( if not all ) have a half F half M design . An F style top and bottom plate with M internals. Or what i like to call a "Proto M"

Re: Help: Beamspring 3101 controller won't slide off

I checked my controller boards and the connectors and I believe the only thing that can cause this is corrosion. There is no screw etc. As you have said ... there is no corrosion anywhere else on the board, it is very odd. I wouldn't use the original connector, as it is super hard to solder to the ...

Foot switch.

Hi All. I have been looking into possibly trying out a foot switch for holding down mod keys ( shift control etc ) as when playing long sessions on some games and needing to hold down mods and press buttons for actions (shift 1 2 3 4 5 6, control 1 2 3 4 5 6) and so on. And it can start to be uncomf...

Re: Get the PITCHFORK key ready! Microsoft intends to molest the keyboard layouts again.

For business purposes, I was repeatedly offered a Windows phone or laptop or tablet in the past 10 years. Free stuff, IF I did something else such as purchasing X or ordering Y. I never took up a single one of these offers and have no regrets. Free Windows devices usually are of minimal use. Paying...

He makes a good point. All they had to do was move down arrwo from 2 and move it to 5 and not bother with the whole silly nav cluster to begin with.

Re: Get the PITCHFORK key ready! Microsoft intends to molest the keyboard layouts again.

They have two windows keys two shift keys who control keys ( that all send different scancodes) a menu key and 12 bloody F keys.

If they cannot program proper keyboard navigation with that then they need to give up and go home.

I would however be all for F13 to F24 becoming standard !

I think the design process should have happened when the Model F AT had been designed. With only a few minor tweaks, it could have been better and the the Model M layout would not have been necessary. modelf.jpg I quite like your layout however that caps lock needs to go away and be replaced with c...
