Re: Ursa
I believe if i want to cover a R2 i would need mods and extra ? Looking at the site at least that is what it appears i need.

Re: Model F Battleship connundrum...
Some of the older M122s used the same sized case as an F but they where not exactly the same, a long long time ago i did read a thread about someone modding one but i don't even remember if it was on geekhack (pre deaskthroity).

Hi mate, been a while. I forgot how good your photos always are
. I love that HHKB it looks like a BBC Micro!
I am assuming that a set would fit an R2 realforce ? If so it may be time for my novatouch + black on grey dyesubs to be retired as my work board and for the R2 to take its place.

Re: Model F Battleship connundrum...
I have quite a lot of experience fixing model F boards, almost anything can be fixed its just a case of how much effort you want to put in. Is the board on ebay intact ? What about the springs ? A rusty plate and case is nothing to worry about that can be fixed but if too many springs are gone then ...

I have not seen this before its quite strange. Thanks to the applied violence from jsheradin we can see its a single injection moulded part so the sticker theory is indeed out. The edge of the top texture looks almost painted on, i am wondering if its a worn injection mould however this also does ...

Regarding the shift key, I recommend adjusting the spring by following the QC secrets video in the manual on the project web site. As the last resort noted in the video, switching the spring with another spring or with a spare from the first aid kit can also fix the issue.

The older type of M122 case could fit the F122 but not without modification.
The slimmer smaller case ( like the one unicomp still sells ) will not fit it .
