If you do Cherry donor boards there's several G80s with blacks and browns. Just take a brown spring and a black stem and you've got a red switch.

My keyboard sucks at the moment but that'll change sometime soon hopefully. It's currently the best USB keyboard I have. desk_8_15.jpg Cheap-o Dell keyboard that came with a Vostro. SK-8115 - featherweight, no metal stabiliziers on most of the long keys, but decent key feel - pretty light for a rubb...

That's probably buckling rubber sleeve similar to the ones on the M4s. IBM had a bunch of rubber dome with different feels. There's the rubber dome Ms, the rubber sleeve M4's, the Chicony boards (KB-3923, KB-8923, KB-9930, several others) I have a KB-9930 in front of me with okayish feel), the NMB-o...

Here's a thought. Why don't you ask Unicomp to make keycaps with red or blue printing? Sort of like Sixty's group buy for red lettered keycaps. I mean, they do dye sub, and they make blue lettered Ctrl keys and such. (as usual I won't be participating in this since I don't currently own a Model M, a...

OT, but it would be cool to make a minimize key, a maximize key, and a red close key and then put it in the PrintScreen - ScrollLock - Pause/Break cluster.

Oh it's engraved, I didn't notice before. I should read text. In that case, I recommend going otaku. Can you imagine piano keys engraved with the notes, so Beethoven could remember them? Glockenspiel bars are usually engraved with the notes. And some vibraphones too, though the one I use has them o...

Some of the lasered ones are Helvetica. The rounded bubbly font on the doubleshots, dye subs, and certain lasered ones appears to be custom. I tried to get a match before, but it's definitely custom - though if you mix VAG Rounded Bold and Helvetica Rounded Bold, you can get something close. http://...

The green text is probably silkscreened or pad printed. Triple and even quadruple shot keys do exist though (certain Brother typewriters had triple shot keys)

Yes, though there's several variants of whites (complicated, type 1 simplified [a.k.a. Fukkas] , type 2 simplified [a.k.a. XM's], non-clicky dampened complicateds [as on SGI Granite and Apple Extended II]), among others. Blues and some grays are generally also clicky.

This is why I prefer proper ANSI.

However, I don't want either. I'm a left shift only guy and I hit full sized backspace in the middle.
