Re: Glorious GMMK Pro review (Glorious Pandas)
I was looking forward to this review, as I wanted to see what you'd think of the typing feel of a gasket-mounted keyboard. Then again, I suppose this wasn't the best board to make those differences apparent, as the gaskets come very compressed already, the way the keyboard is put together, and the a...

Re: APT tactile & clicky Hall effect keyboards review
One thing I would really love to see, is a revival of Pawnerd's inductive switch project. https://alltrons.com/analog-keyboard-technology/ Being able to turn any existing keyboard switch analog, and therefore adjust the actuation point in itself is amazing, but I think the real potential lies with M...

Will this work with any XT board? I've got a Space Invaders board that could use something like this, if you're still making them.

Re: Retrobrighting Omnikey keycaps (thin doubleshot ABS)
No, it won't damage them. Use a sealed container, so the peroxide doesn't evaporate. Keep away from light, since exposure to light will slowly decompose the hydrogen peroxide into water. Same goes for excessive heat. Keep it in the dark, but you can use a clear container if you want to check in on i...

Re: Retrobrighting Omnikey keycaps (thin doubleshot ABS)
Doubleshot Omnikey caps, right? You should be fine. Don't go crazy with the concentration, I used 3% and it got rid of all the yellowing, so don't feel like you have to get a really high concentration.

Re: Retrobrighting Omnikey keycaps (thin doubleshot ABS)
You don't need to heat them up, or use uv light or sunlight.
All you need is hydrogen peroxide and time.
leaving the caps in peroxide for a week in a dark spot at room temperature is the safest and most effective way to retrobrite.

NMB Keyboard not working
Hello! I recently bought a 2nd-gen NMB AT keyboard, and after plugging it into my AT to PS/2 adapter and my active PS/2 to USB adapter, it doesn't work. Neither of the adapters are the problem, since I tested them with another AT keyboard and a Logitech PS/2 keyboard. The lock lights work, and toggl...

Novelkeys Creams with UHMWPE stems are probably your best bet. Smoothest materials, great sound.

Re: New Datacomp Alps
I'd love to see a group buy for these, even if they're not complicated. Maybe combining the best parts of these switches and Matias switches could create a pretty good result. (a Matias slider and linear bottom housing combined with the Datacomp top housing and leaves sounds like it could have poten...

Looks like it's just yellowed. You can soak it in hydrogen peroxide for a week and it should be back to a normalish color.

Re: Flag for Keyboards (League of Actuations)
Here's the flag for Hi-Tek, as requested! https://i.imgur.com/XVpJguX.png The icon comes from Space Invader switch housings! The next flag will be for Micro Switch. After that, I will be making one last flag. I don't know which switch manufacturer to do though, so look through this list: https://des...

Re: Flag for Keyboards (League of Actuations)
Here's the updated version!

As you can see, no more words!
Since Topre doesn't have an icon, I chose the electronic symbol for a capacitor, since Topre is a capacitive switch. (Also the bottom half looks like a T)

Re: Flag for Keyboards (League of Actuations)
Well there aren't really any symbols that can represent each brand, except for Cherry.
Maybe a mountain for Alps, but I can't think of anything that would work for IBM or Topre.
I figured that if I couldn't find symbols for all of them, just having the logos would be more consistent.

I made a flag for the keyboard community! If this was a flag for a group, I think the League of Actuations would be a pretty good name!
