It would be nice if we would have an at least optional SSL certificate on the website. Especially for when exchanging payment and address information via the PM system. Nowadays SSL shouldn't be the bottleneck for about anything and they come pretty easy on the monies.

Why is it so hard to understand that simplicity is the best. :( No fancy gamer stuff, just a plain keyboard.

TOuSJE Keyboard (~1985 custom keyboard)

http://i.imgur.com/8WZ282f.jpg After some browsing on the "local ebay" I found this board. It took me a couple days to want it enough to do some research about it. The description was a little weird and it didn't look like anything I had seen before. After lots of searching together with gmjhowe we...

Would it be wise to order some ALPS from 7bit in advance, or is there going to be a GB for everything when the time comes?

It appears the person I contacted with was confusing some products when talking to me if I have to believe a certain Geekhack user who also browses DT. So in the end the person I mailed with was wrong and nothing will be soldered it seems.

I've sent them a couple emails and it came into one of the replies. I requested them not to solder my stuff, and the person who I had contact with would pass it on. They would be soldering the Ergodox for most of their customers wouldn't be having soldering gear.

It appears Massdrop is soldering the solderable parts on the pcb now. If you don't want your kit to be soldered it is wise to shoot them a message soon.
