I have one of those, really interesting classic device. Haven't used it in a while to be honest. Attached it with a USB<>PS/2 adapter when I did use it. Definitely an interesting historical piece.

I believe so, yes, wired as shown above. The above diagram came from sandy55s "connectors" page where you will also find pinouts for AT vs PS/2 connectors if you need them and a vairiety of others. And here is the sandy55 Wang 724 page FYI.
