Re: Plate/PCB spacing for Alps?

I am currently working on a custom plate on my own and I am kind of stuck because builder.swillkb.com does not support alps stabilizers for 7u spacebars. I would really advise you to double-check everything before ordering, I almost ordered the plate without realizing that the stabilizer cutouts are...

Re: 104 Cherry MX blacks [FREEish]

Cherry made new tools at some point and switches manufactured after are known as "retooled".
AFAIK the difference can be determined when comparing the stem: https://imgur.com/0hCXwps

[WTS][EU-AT] NOS Kawasaki with Fujitsu Leaf Spring

For sale is a NOS Kawasaki keyboard that uses linear Fujitsu Leaf Spring switches of the third generation. It is basically brainless and uses a "WS28 24 pin connector" which connects to the rows and columns of the switch matrix, therefore making an adapter for it should be fairly easy. The keycaps a...

Re: IDENTIFY THE KEYBOARD thread

Hi everybody, I need your help again. I think I've seen all four before, but dang if I can remember. The top one looks like it comes from a "luggable" computer. The one at the bottom looks like a Siemens. Maybe RAFI, Siemens STB or rubber dome. If a good price, I would get them all. Thanks, I found...

Re: Alps plate spring custom build log (work in progress)

So did the "smooth kote" lube solve the binding issue? I own a P70 keyboard which was very clean when I bought it, but I notice a tiny bit of binding as well and I wonder if lubing completely solves this or just helps with more dirty switches.

Re: Alps TKL with SKCM Browns [Endgame Candidate]

Thanks for the reply, 3D printing is really a good idea.
Really nice build btw, truly a inspiration for alps-endgame that does not completely break the bank (at least compared to a tgr jane v2 or other alps compatible TKLs).
