Re: A case for a Tandy 3000

I have a spare case, but it's not in a good condition either. The plastic is very solid and I don't think it'll break soon, but there are a lot of marks on there that won't come off. I thought of sanding it down a bit and painting it but I haven't got around to that yet. If you're interested let me ...

Re: MT3 Doubleshot

Pretty sure there are too many requests like that but I'd love an MT3 set based on the Symbolics 364000. I really like that colorway, problem being color matching. The manufacturer is incredibly bad at that. Interesting, is that always a problem with recreating existing colourways? For me at least ...

Great find! Wow, the FMR board looks to be in pristine order! What do you think of them? :D Thanks! These are great switches, I think that FMR are great linear is known already, but the tactiles really surprised me. Pretty sure there are too many requests like that but I'd love an MT3 set based on the Symbolics 364000. It's pretty unique and probably lends itself better to injection molding than dye sublimation.
Also, if the Beamspring colorway will be done I'm in as well.

Dang. Is that Alps or plate spring? Yep! Sure is Lol, I figured it out. So what's the deal with Yahoo auctions? Why is this so cheap? Is the catch that shipping is just super expenseive? I guess it is so cheap because the auction still has 3 days left. And there's also a certain risk when buying st...

Re: Pericom keyboard

Do you have an opinion on the switches themselves? I think I like something with a little more travel. I've got an older ITW in the quarantine queue (that's 75% heavier) that I may end up liking more. The ones on this board also feel a little scratchy. I don't know whether that's because they need ...

Since there have been two requests regarding the numbers on tactile and latching reed switches, here's a picture (the one with the white cap is latching, the other one is tactile):

I almost fell for it too, but luckily there is no shipping option to the EU :D
I think the problem that led to the wrong perception is that the thing pictured is not the thing sold, which I personally find close to being intentionally misleading.

That pricing is anything but fair if you ask me. You can build your own for about 10 euros/dollars I've just built some myself and the parts definitely cost more than 10€/usd. I built one last week for 8 euros https://deskthority.net/viewtopic.php?t=23406 Interesting stuff, but that's not the produ...
