@Polecat, your suggestion seems to be correct. I'm not familiar with Futaba switches, but I don't think it feels quite an Alps. I no longer have an Alps kb, but from memory it feels different.

What do you mean buckling spring switches? It's just a bog standard SMK second generation switch in a keyboard that is built about as well as a Cherry G81.
