I loved magnum p.i., although something about it seemed implausible... this guy just lets him use his car/house/helicopter in hawaii for his private investigator business? Great stuff, heh.

Not to outdo darkcruix, but i'll be taking mine scuba diving next week. ;) Seriously though, I tried to take a better natural light photo for the color red, but then this happened to our skies: https://i.imgur.com/vLVbXZY.jpg https://i.imgur.com/Ei1Unnm.jpg But anyway, I decided to try my hand at ph...

oh wow, nice - i'd love to be able to configure this with VIA.
did you have to do anything special? Or was it just a matter of following these steps and then compiling the firmware with command line utilities?
Sorry for my ignorance, the world of qmk is mostly new to me.

On the color, the photo is a bit off, but not too far... it has the trademark samsung over-saturation. I'll try to get a photo with some natural lighting tomorrow. It's a really punchy red, a tinge on the orange side. When I unboxed it, i was taken aback at its vibrance and beauty. Such an amazing d...

Re: Keyboards acquired in a year
I just noticed that on the canon board, the stepped capslock key has its top the same size as the tab above it. Why dont more boards do this? It has always grinded my gears.

Re: F62+F77 orders now open! New Kishsaver+Industrial Model F Keyboards
Finally got my F77, and i'm super impressed. I did have one major issue - I had the problem where I had large swaths of keys that were unresponsive, and the issue seemed to be the pins on the ribbon cable connection poking through the tape and shorting out on the case. I layered some scotch tape for...

For my F77 when it arrives, I ordered a single unit "Numpad 0 with Ins subtext" and they actually did it. Cost me $0.80. My 3270 and APL sets look great also, pictured below. https://i.imgur.com/hXujKir.jpg The feel of the caps are pretty damn on par with my genuine Model M keycaps from 1990, howeve...

A Modern Contactless MX-style mount switch?
I'm building a hotswap 75% using the ODIBAO id80 in blue with GMK Olivetti caps - not sure why I typed all that, I guess i'm just stoked. Anyway, as an alternative to lubed linears, I was wondering if there is a modern contactless switch in an MX-style PCB/Plate mount form-factor that can be hot-swa...

i like detachable cables... i do end up swapping often. i have a Model M hooked up all the time for my coding/numpad needs, and I grab a smaller board with more appropriate switches when gaming or not trying to wake up my girlfriend. I actually feel that the smaller the board, the more important it ...

Re: Rebadged WYSE keyboard with Cherry Switches
I love all these WYSE-50's pics. i really like the layout of these boards, basically a 65% with a numpad.. kinda AT layout evolved, heh. Also it seems like these WYSE-50's were bought and reskinned by some interesting companies in interesting ways. The body looks tough and well constructed. The lege...

Beautiful keyboard, and it looks like a pretty fun and usable layout - you should try to convert it.

Niz Plum87 - off-center keypress not registering (EC calibration)
TL;DR: I have trouble registering off-center key presses on my Niz Plum. The CalibrationLite tool fixes the issue, but only temporarilly. I have to use the Calibration Tool and reset to "InitialCalib" about once a day. Got my Niz Plum 87 about a month ago. It has become my primary while I gather up ...

My maxkey blue & gray keycaps (sa/abs/double-shot) are pretty slippery and high quality. They also sound great IMO
But theorhetically POM should be much slicker, although I have no experience with it.
