How much it clicks has nothing to do with the spring, at least not in MX switches and not something I can notice (I have both an MX Green and an MX Blue in my keyboard). The difference between how a switch behaves when mounted in a keyboard and when simply held in hand is also very different, so tha...

I think I am down for 1x MX mini U and 1x Acrylic plate for MX-MINI U.

I don't know about the case, it depends on how much it'll cost and how it looks.
What about the acrylic plates? are they going to be 1.5mm or 4mm (IIRC) as some korean boards utilize?

I got a mail today from SP stating they hope to ship the last of the orders within this week. I presume that also means the international sets? Did we get pics of those?

I actually think they care a great deal (at least more than any other keycap manufacture). They are a small firm, so I guess they prioritize to keep the group buy orders simple so they don't fuck it up. Their new system is still rather new, so they are most like still in the learning phase of things.

BLASPHEMY calling Cherry profile DCS! But I highly doubt GMK will ever do anything to attract our communities interest much more than they have already done. We (mostly Ivan) have already fought hardily to lower the MOQ. They also have much larger customers and can survive without us, plus their too...

Keyboards can be easily modified. Mouse, joysticks and the likes can not. That means there is a lot more to talk about. If I could take apart different mouse, joysticks, joypads or whatever and put together whatever I liked to make it fit my preferences and needs, just like I can with my Cherry keyb...

oh, that is a great looking board! Some of the keys are a bit weird, especially the tab and the shift keys as they have just used normal up-arrows as legends.

Re: Retrobright: The Yellow Strikes Back

Isn't it the flame retardants in the plastic that causes the excessive yellowing? I think I read that somewhere, when I investigated a bit about retr0brighting.

The problem is not at all the "Hacking" part of the name, it's the "Ultimate" I find both arrogant and ignorant at the same time.

We should do a keyboard photography equipment group buy, so we can all take good pics and have them consistent at the same time  (seriously, I could use a good cheap camera)

Regarding springs, try and take a look at Sprits Spring group buy, he has a pretty good description of them.

55g should be lighter than reds, AFAIK. I found 65g to be great if you find reds to be too light.

From Feng. He had a group buy over at GH in his vendor sub forum: http://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=54442.0 The orange Esc was free with every RGBY set. The blue was something we could buy extra (it was actually for the Chinese community, like the orange was for GH). There was also a lime green Es...

Yup, Imsto usually run these key sets on white PBT keys. It's the same keys that IvanIvanovich runs his dye sub group buys on, which is also through Imsto, but we decide the legends.

While I like red font, I think blue Alt Gr legends is a better choice as it matches the blue Alt key in the RGB kits (SPOILER, I plan on only using a single blue Alt key from my RGB kit)

If you are going to design a dyesub set, avoid blue.

Exactly! Blue Sun in the Nerdom Kit was surprisingly pale in color, so the same could easily be the case for the Int kits.

Yeah, I really like this as well, apart from when the odd threads without a thumbnails mingles in between, makes it a bit messy. Maybe it would be better to just give those a blank image if no image is present in the thread or set as thumbnail?

That shit turned out mighty fine! The gap next to the arrow cluster looks great with the higher edge on the case (that also hides the switches)!

But the big question, does it make it easier to home in on the arrow keys?

I highly doubt they will use either SP or Tai Hoi. Tai Hao might be cheap in the eyes of the community, but getting legends cut and molds made is not cheap at all, add to that the need for front printing on the keys. The key caps will not matter in sales of this keyboard, as the targeted group knows...
