Thanks! Been waiting on a deal for those.
Very nice. Thanks for posting this one. I'm not a fan of the switches, but this would be a nice KB to use as a base for customizing.

Well, I don't think I'd be interested in any of the MEI T-15s . I'd definitely go for one of each of the linear and clicky. Someone made an earlier comment about fees listed in the spreadsheet. I live in the US, so even if the keyboards are $0 a piece, I know that they'd cost between $40 and $60 to ...

Re: Historical question - when did rubber domes eat the world?

Rubber domes existed before, and had a large market share, but it was that late-90's pricing war that really destroyed all market share that mechanical keyboards had prior. I think that's about right. In a very general sense, if I see a keyboard with a Windows (95) key on it, I assume it's a rubber...

I think you might be very surprised and happy with Kailh Thick Click Jade or Navy. You can easily pop them into an RGB case. They're also pretty cheap.

Re: Unicomp, are you drunk?

If it was ps/2 I easily remap it in the converter. But this is USB, so a bit more of a hassle. If SharpKeys can see it, your hassle will only be about two minutes long, at most. I was also thinking that maybe this was a terminal keyboard in its past. I have a couple terminal Ms (RJ-45 connectors) t...

Cherry mount. Windows keys. I'd say that it's probably MX switches. It'd be nice to see the bottom case and stickers.

I'd peg it as a rubber dome. Maybe not even a KPQ/KPR type. There is a Mitsumi miniature mechanical switch and a Mitsumi standard mechanical switch. I'm pretty sure that these were not the names that Mitsumi actually used, but it's more convenient for us to tell the difference on this forum. I think...

I don't think this one is overly sexy, but it's the best picture I've ever taken of a keyboard. It's mine ... for a few more days. Just cropped and a small rotate in Gimp, which is also about all I know how to do in Gimp.

I think I've got it narrowed down to three of the Box switches: Noble Yellow, (NovelKeys) Pink, and (NovelKeys) Navy. I might just try the 7th Generation powder. The liquid didn't do very much for me. Simple Green was better. I'm still pretty happy with how Efferdent works and how little it costs, although I think I'll get some of the "heavy stain" version the next time I use it.
