Looks like nothing some retr0bright won't fix. Still a bit expensive though.

Re: READY - $10 - DIY Through Hole Universal Model F and Beamspring Controller

Hi. I've laid out a version of this for model f at, if anyone is interested. Tested and working fine. https://raw.githubusercontent.com/frogmaster/TH-XWhatsIt-F/main/model_f_at_board.jpg Kicad files and gerbers can be found here: https://github.com/frogmaster/TH-XWhatsIt-F Minor change from my test...

Re: How to make the worst switch possible?

I'm not sure what it was, but I think it could have been a variation of Siemens STB that had a weird sensation when pressing. It was scratchy on the way down in a way that resembled getting shocked with electricity, as when touching an electric appliance that isn't plugged into an earthed socket. D...

Re: Loudest keyboard out there?

Try an IBM Selectric.
In addition to sound of typing element hitting the platen, you also get motor whirring and carriage slamming the tab stops; quite an auditory experience.
Now imagine an office full of them.

Re: QMK in the New Model F Keyboard

Thank you. I gave up and installed WinCompose. Now it is working perfectly. I wish I didn't have to install anything this app works nice. Thanks for the tip anyway. I will check it later. It's generally a pain to get a keyboard to output non-ASCII characters. Keyboards can only output scan codes, a...

And both barrel plates are cracked. At this point you might be better off just chopping a regular M barrel plate.
The keycaps should be worth something though.

Don't know about your specific track point, but this guy has pinout for several old think pad track points like r61 and t40

Also think pad track point doesn't have mouse buttons either

If you have your own resin 3D printer, maybe try printing your own? SneakyRobb has released a model that works.

For the springs just use Model M springs.

Re: New Solenoid Driver Available (tested, works!)

First of all, I would like to thank you for all the boards you make and publish. I have already ordered several v1.0 PCBs from JLCPCB (they have restocked the inductor as of today) and I'm looking for a solenoid that would be compatible with the driver board. Have you been able to test it with any ...

If you're really that paranoid, maybe try a gun safe?
Many them are compatible with security cables. One designed for AR-15 will probably also be big enough for the F122.
