Re: F104+SSK+122+62+77+50+Ergo orders now open! New Kishsaver+Industrial Model F Keyboards

SunshineRag_DT I have ordered the Code keys, PC AT Big Enter, and non-stepped ISO Enter - feel free to sign the interest form here: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1vsamkl_jOqp6wAEfZGeivQZ8ZaibpoT0WQkDG39r08Q/ I have no plans for Model M kits or recreations of other IBM layouts, though everyone can...

Tactile Pro 5 is USB type C now
I emailed Matias and they told me there is no Tactile Pro 5.
Ok well I just meant thing thing y'all were talking about had a usb-c instead of microusb. So I guess newer Tactile Pro 4 has usb-c or something

I am hoping to make a short introductory video to the Model F keyboards project for the project web site.
You're a few years late for that and about to end production.

Re: [WTB] Northgate Omnikey 101P, 102P, Ultra-TP, or Avant Stellar

The Focus BAE came two ways. Early ones, with no Winkeys, with or without the extra keys on the bottom row, came with a single wire and guide post just like Northgate. Late ones with Winkeys had the two stab wires. It looks like even some Win-keyless ones had the dual wire-stabilized BAE. The ones ...

Use EasyHidListen to get the exact key names to input into the Soarer's remap file https://github.com/adamhb123/EasyHIDListen

Re: F62+F77 orders now open! New Kishsaver+Industrial Model F Keyboards

In terms of key feel the springs are noticeably lighter than the ones in my AT Model F and the "switches" are more scratchy. The lighter springs might be preferable to some people, I'm currently undecided. Yeah on my F77 the springs are so light that the slightest press slams the keycap down so vio...

Fucking lord, there're at least 1.2K old keyboards working under Soarers firmware in today's modern computers.

Salute Soarer.
And I'm sure at least some of these people use one converter with 10+ boards like me

Re: IBM AT USB conversion

I will forever recommend the Soarer's converters sold by orihalcon on ebay as they are just built super well and a good price. And they are still programmable? Yeah you can change the scancodes of all the keys as well as add function layers and macros Edit: I just realized you may have been asking ...

Re: IBM AT USB conversion

Soarer's is the best performance ones I've used personally. Even for ps/2 keyboards I use a passive 6-pin mini din to 5-pin din converter just so I can use my AT/XT Soarer's on them. I will forever recommend the Soarer's converters sold by orihalcon on ebay as they are just built super well and a go...

Re: Are Alps keycaps harder to take off than Cherry keycaps?

Matias Tactile Pro is just built like shit. Every original alps keyboard I've come across was strong enough to withstand pulling off the keycaps. On AEK2 you just have to pull the spacebar really hard until the stabilizers pop out of the keycap or the clips pop out of the chassis. It's all meant to ...

Good lord, each of those model M's is worth at least 100 bucks. Awesome deal you found.

The blank keyboard on top of image you'll just have to look at the sticker cuz there's like 20 different boards that look exactly like that.

I got surprised today, when I began to type my password too quickly after waking the computer up. The first 2 keys where probably discarded during the calibration process, and didn't function at all in the subsequent session I openned using the laptop keyboard. It was a bit wierd that some "random"...
