for anything that has a declared value (including shipping) of about $25 and (here's the kicker) an extra "processing-fee-because-we-can-charge-you-whatever-we-want-and-you-can-do-f**k-all-about-it" which is something between $12-$25 depending largely on luck. Exactly this. Over here, everything ov...

Price: 0.10 EUR for a stem 0.64 EUR for taking a switch apart ;-) You funny man.. in that case I'll order five million stems ;) I doubt he sells separate stems. White is significantly quieter than MX blue (or green) but is still technically a clicky switch. Whites are essentially factory lubed blue...

Hey 7bit (or anyone), what's your opinion on MX white switches? I have a few samples and they feel a bit softer / less noisy than MX blue. And less stiff/scratchy than MX clears.. I was thinking of making a clear switch with clear or white stems but I'm not quite sure which will feel the nicest. MX ...

Amazing! How are the sheets of plexi held together? Are there some kind of threaded inserts in the clear acrylic layers? The plexi is held together by M3 countersunk screws. Initially the idea was to have all plates threaded but the transparent plexi was rather stubborn so I drilled those out. So n...

Thanks guys :) waited long enough for the doomed phantom pcb to arrive :p That shift lock. As I said in your other thread, great looking board. Congrats on the BE dyesubs. Did you find two? I am think I see a few double caps in there like the arrow keys. Yes I have three white (beige) dyesub sets ri...

Heh, I'll try not to make that mistake. :) I'll keep on the lookout for a set of nice ISO doubleshots for sure. I've never used blue ALPS before, only black in the original AT102W and whites in another board. I quite like the whites though, so I'm hoping the Matias click switches will be as good fo...

Whoah! What magic is this? You're a wizard, Paranoid. Spec-freaking-tacular creation. Even down to the Alps light! Now I know I like cream Alps from my Apple Extended II, there is a serious danger I'm going to make something like this in tactile Matias. You're coaxing me on! Hehe, thanks :) took me...

Custom Dell AT102W Redesign
Redesigning an ALPS board by Paranoid. Since discovering mechanical keyboards a few of my first boards were ALPS. The first encounter with ALPS was pretty interesting. I typed on a few black ALPS boards, some typed better than others. I also tried White ALPS from a Nan-Tan, Cream ALPS from a AT102 ...

- The yellow, either way is fine. As long as it looks good and not eye-blinding (which I do find to be the case in the picture you have in the OP). - Legends: As an ISO user I would definitely want a matching ISO right shift... Wouldn't it look really weird to have two different kinds of shift on on...
