I got one of Ellipse F77s and when I move it around, I dread dropping it.

Not for the keyboard's sake of cause, but a plank of my floor would be gone. Probably the screed below it as well.

I actually today attempted to kitchen towel mod it, because I had no floss with a foam part. Well, kitchen towel does not work at all

To try it out, I bought an old used F and so far I like the typing on the alphanumeric keys; but the layout on this XT is just… not fitting into my training, I guess. And the spacebar is sooooo stiff. Both problems should not exist on the new Model F, so I'm looking forward to my own order arriving ...

I really like typing. And typing on a good keyboard is just nicer than typing on a "bad" keyboard.

Thanks, Ellipse, for the pointers! I had looked at the other models before already and found them to be extremely beautiful. This made me decide on a black F77 in the first place. Now that I've ordered, I can't wait, to see it.🙂 I'll continue to look at the album, maybe at one point I'll spot mine 🙂...
