I bought a nrf51822 board months ago but have not had enough time to play with and I don't know how well it performs yet. Some people in the community trying this BLE chip so I hope we will see great fruition before so long. Besides Bluetooth you can use proprietry wireless technologies and we alre...

What is the expected price range? they're 75c US each -- considering the springs (and i suppose the clear tops, which do nothing for me particularly) the cost is at least on par with modding stock MX clears. this is one of the reasons i only use 60% - it costs less to build boards  75¢ each is...

Seems like this is something I did.. I probably just made the numbering up as I went. As long as the numbering is the same on the schematics symbol as on the component footprint, I think it's really up to the designer to choose =) It may be backwards to the norm with pins numbered counter clockwise...

Hm, sorry I haven't been able to follow on the status of this project. When can I place an order for it? Or is it too late?

Teensy 2.0 schematic error?

Hello, I was reading on the Kicad tutorial wiki page, and noticed something weird with the schamatic of the Teensy 2.0 dev board [1]. The i/o pins are in reverse order. Each label (PB0, PB1, etc) is associated with a pin number. And the schematic in the tutorial shows PB0 is associated with pin 28, ...

Yup and I also checked that the maximum input/output current is 40mA. Thanks!

No resistors are used to limit the current in keyboards?

Hello everyone, I just designed a 35% keyboard PCB which uses Teensy 2.0 as the controller.
And I just realized there are no resistors used in the keyboards to limit the current flow between input and output pins.

Is this because the controller input has high impedance?

7bit will get them to you in six months. Maybe. Or at least an excuse. But he surely can't be beat for variety. I've bought switches from him before, he's a great fella, just don't trust his ETAs! Especially when he's distracted by something the scale of Round 5 right now. Ok I could wait 6 weeks.....

You can also buy from here but not sure how quick they would arrive 7bit is a bit busy with R5 shipping. http://deskth...

Hi everyone, I just received a custom PCB I designed for my portable keyboard project. Now it's time to buy some switches, but wasn't sure eBay is the right way to go? I see individual keys for ~$4 USD, and thought it was steep. I am in Canada. Thanks! Yes, it's steep ... try here, Cherry MX about ...
