Does all four switches work like normal? Such an insane idea, but creative nonetheless

Re: Kinda curious: What makes Alps so sensitive to dust?
Wow, didn't expect this topic to become so popular on Deskthority :D ! So much research goes into the best way to restore switches, it is pretty astounding to watch. I just began this thread just asking a small question and instead I get loads of text about which way is the best way to restore alps ...

20220114_221525.jpg 20220114_221548.jpg The vintage keyboards keep coming :). I am typing this on a D-91275 obtained from my work. They were throwing it away and just asked if I could keep it. This is a freebie from my company. This is my first small keyboard I've typed on. I am used to full sizes,...

Re: Kinda curious: What makes Alps so sensitive to dust?
Damn, ALPS switches are much more complicated than I've originally thought. It looks like there are so many factors to account for when buying and choosing ALPS boards...

Kinda curious: What makes Alps so sensitive to dust?
I have been eying for a keyboard with ALPS switches, but everytime I look at such a keyboard (like a AT101W), I get pretty hesitant to buy it. I've read and heard a lot about the ALPS ''sensitivity'' to dust when compared to other switches. What causes ALPS to have a high sensitivity to dust?

Re: Post your keyboard/keycaps!
Nah, it is just that most ISO boards have the @-key on the key where the quotation-mark reside, which I really can't type on. Here, the @-key is on the ''good'' spot

Re: Post your keyboard/keycaps!
Maybe not much compared to the other keyboards in this thread, but I would like to show my first vintage keyboard. 20211130_161949.jpg 20211130_162011.jpg Found this in a attic. It's a SK-2300H, possibly from BTC (1.25U ESC). Types much better than my previous Skiller Pro and has a more bassy sound...

Re: [WTB] Acer 6310 series US-layout
I think this is a ISO-UK layout; Personally, I can't use that layout.
Sorry bout this, but looks like this ain't the product I was looking for.
I do thank you for offering me these keyboards.

[WTB] Acer 6310 series US-layout
I have been interested in the world of mechanical keyboards for quite some time and I would like to start out my journey with one of the most common vintage keyboards: the Acer 6310 series of keyboards. I want the keyboard to have a WIN-key. Condition doesn't have to be perfect, but it needs to at l...
