Just having a couple foot pedals for Ctrl and Alt would be nice. I had rigged up some flight sim pedals at one point to do just that, but really what you need is something like a piano foot pedal.

Ugh... I know this feeling...

I fixed this by carefully boring it out using a small screwdriver bit on a dremel, and then extracting bits with an Xacto knife. You need to break up the plastic, since it is wedged in tightly.

Capacitive buckling springs, the kind found in Model Fs. They have the most delightful sound and such a crisp feel. Model Ms are too heavy in comparison.

Cherry blues are a very close contender, and are what I use on a day to day basis.
