The optimum would be a TKL that has a setup where you could still have the functionality of the arrow keys (without holding down anything) and the functionality of entering hi bit characters using the alt held down while pressing numbers method. The ultra optimum TKL would add full NKRO over USB, (...

It was a hard decision, because I use both for different things, but I chose fullsize Having the ability to use it if it's there is great for calculator applications, and I play a number of games that use it That said, on my laptop, I'd prefer tenkeyless, just for the fact that I only type things, t...

Holy cow, this eBay markup is insane then!
What is the average price they go for on GH or DT? How do I know if I'm being taken advantage of?

As someone who's just watched this ClickClack controversy from the sidelines, I don't really know what's rational anymore. I see people arguing all the time that someone has theirs priced too high, is tricking n00bs, or is messing with the market Could someone inform a helpless n00b here of what the...

Insane eBay prices?

I was just browsing eBay to see what they had in store for keycap selection and came across this guy selling a Filco Majestouch with yellow keycaps for what seems to be three times the going price of retailers If I wanted to get one and I didn't live so close to an NCIX, eBay would probably be my on...

I asked this question a while ago somewhere else and got both TypeRacer and Typing of the Dead as answers, and I love 'em both
I've noticed a 10 wpm increase after practising for a month or so with TypeRacer, and I find Typing of the Dead is a good way to stay "limber" I guess

The new Apple keyboards are actually a type of scissor switches, not rubber domes. I know because I've had a few with keycaps popping off! ;)

What would his righteousness recommend as a wristrest for a Filco Majestouch 2 104key? I used to use a Microsoft Sidewinder X4 and found the wristrest soothing as I tend to drop my wrists, and I hear that the Steelseries 7G wristrest is also quite comfortable. I am not opposed to soft wristwrests e...

Having multiple items shipped to one person then distributed is quite common in this community (as you can see from the marketplace). BTW welcome to Deskthority! S...

Where to find Filco keycaps?

I love it, love it, love it so far, but was wondering where I could find some of the keycaps for...
