Re: TKC Blackberry | Interesting Aristotle switches clone!

I don't see in the video what it is that is supposed to make it similar to the Aristotle... I wouldn't expect clickandthock to cover that information because the channel has a very strong focus on capturing and showcasing the sound of various switches. If you want more detailed information on the m...

[WTB] Handful of Pine White Alps, Any Condition

Doing a restoration on a keyboard and a couple of the top housings of the switches had irreversible damage. Am looking to purchase ~10 switches to use for parts.

Re: Alps Lubricant FOUND!

Just wanted to put this out there in case anyone finds it helpful, but I wax boiled some alps.tw Type OA2 clones in a pretty crummy condition Datacomp DFK191 that I got off eBay with great results. Re: Who still looks forward to the Keystone?

One thing the Keystone has over Wooting, for me, is the tactile option. And it's through an Alps-like leaf at that! Otherwise, I would be all over the Wooting board. The loss of the Silos was devastating. It definitely cut the enthusiasm down by half. One half was the board and a whole other half w...

Re: Who still looks forward to the Keystone?

Personally, I find it hard to get excited about an unproven and late Kickstarter keyboard project when wooting is already selling linear hall effect keyboards that basically deliver on all the same promises. The silo beam spring switches where the only thing that really made me interested in it.

Re: Does anyone else feel the lack of a fullsize option ruins the Model F repro?

To answer the thread topic, no. I strongly prefer TKL over other formats. I've never once used a numpad and if I was doing accounting work I'd prefer that it be a separate periferal and not part of my keyboard. I'll also add that as a collector of vintage boards by far the worst part of the hobby se...
