Updating my review. It's now my main board, having displaced filcos, cherry reds, and a maltron.
The space bar is the best in the industry bar none. The tenting mechanism depending on the hand rests is not ideal. It forces the keyboard to be separated from the body, resulting in a very unergonomic ...

Touchtyping but using ring finger instead of pinky often. Consequences
I Touch type colemak on a matias ergo pro, but catch myself using ring finger instead of pinky often. Are there any consequences? ring finger is longer and requires less of a wrist twist to reach keys, particularly on the right hand. Who came up with the finger rules? Are these from the typewriter ...

Not part of the tour, bought it unseen, here's my review...
The switches are a bit stubborn, like the fukkas.
Not sure they will grow on me. The activation force feels pretty serious. I'm not sure this is bottoming out or the actual feel of the switch.
The large space bar and control keys are great ...

Maltron moved the arrow keys and modifiers. What reason?
I wonder if there's any research behind that, or user complaints, or what. I have the 89 model, with arrow keys in two thumb clusters. I wonder if I should remap or learn this weird way to move around. All feels good, but selecting text with ctrl shift arrows. That is virtually impossible.

hactually they are about as high as a desko or a G80. It just looks high because of the design of th curved plastic in front.
I have two of these and they are my main board. I was planning to to the split mod before Hoggy posted his (great minds think alike?). In fact the boards come with a Y cable ...
