I also noticed the sides on this OfficeMax keyboard are much slimmer than they are on real IBM or Unicomp Model Ms (highlighted in red so you know which bit I'm talking about)

Oh Oracle, what is the absolute biggest keyboard I can buy that will work with my PC?

Anyone ever seen one of these things before? I found only one other reference to it online, and that was a serial version which required a separate AC adapter to operate; this one works off a sole PS/2 port.

That's a surprise, it uses springs. It's not IBM buckling springs though, and the spring is easily removed from the keyboard.
