Gotcha. Depending on the width of the nozzle it can expand a bit and I forgot to account for that. Assuming you use a nozzle diameter of .4mm, the XY delta between exact measurements and actual results can differ by about 75-ish% of the nozzle width. I'm a bit late to the party but I took that svg and turned it into an stl for you if you have a 3d printer. Only thing of note would be that it only has 3 of the four MX crosses so you can print it flat for extra strength.

I second the motion for an ultrasonic cleaner, if you have one. Personally I like to take them apart and inspect each switch part before tossing them into the ol' vibrating bathtub. That way you can know which things are naffed beyond cleaning and if you need replacements.

That alt spacebar alt setup is really slick. Managed to put a unicomp 6.25 spacebar on my xt using 3d printed stabs just superglued right onto the plate but never did anything fancy to the space left over. Really nice work!

The caps were designed from scratch with three things in mind:
1. Simplicity (as far as the amount of polygons go)
2. Strength (mostly just the middle stem)
3. Needed to be able to print upside down for a flat surface

The lower polygon count was mostly a thing for myself to facilitate ease of use ...

Strictly speaking, you should ground the metal plate, but it's not anything like as vital on an M as it is on an F :)

Gotcha. Just popped in again to tell you everything is working all nice and smooth. The original ideas for remapping most of those other keys was because I thought my control key didn't work... thankfully it was just a matter of cleaning out the housing and it's working nicely now.
