yes, but at least mechanical HDs dont cost an arm and a leg. Until SSD's cost per gig goes waaay down, im sticking with mechanical Hds. Going back to the original topic, while the concept of thunderbolt is nice, and having only 1 type of plug to worry about would certainly be useful, I still see USB...
