You would probably have to many rows/columns for a Teensy 2.0, so you could check if you could merge columns/rows. Then you connect each row and column to an input. You can make a copy of a desired version in the keyboard section and apply your own port connections. Then you should enter the matrix ...

I understand it should come up as a serial USB device. I'll try changing VID.

I'm still awaiting key caps, but the mod is described here : http://deskthority.net/keyboards-f2/kbt ... t4598.html

I just modded a KBT Pure with a Teensy and 2-button backspace replacement and used tmk_keyboard for the firmware to mimic my HHKB. I created a new keyboard PureHHKB in my copy of the repository. It works great. I'm having trouble with the debug console however. If I enable CONSOLE_ENABLE in Makefile...

Here are some of my findings. I used a multimeter to chart the columns and rows of the PURE PCB. I used (colored) letters for the columns (the ones that are connected directly to the keys), and numbers for the rows (the ones that are connected via a diode). pure_re.png The chip on the right is the c...

I have analysed the matrix, merged some rows, modded ther PCB for 2 buttons instead of backspace and added a Teensy and modded the (plastic) case yesterday. I will post my findings, the matrix and pictures later today. I might do some programming on the Teensy this evening.

Soldering on the Pure is actually quite easy if you attach wires to the keys directly. The controller can be removed. There is another chip whcih may be a driver for the leds, but as you come from the HHKB you probably dont care about the leds. You even may be able to reuse the usb connector on the ...

Same problem here. Going from HHKB (lite) to Pure -> layout problems. Did you find a solution?
