Topre RealForce x4 (87U 55g/Digilog case, 103U-UW & 104UG High-Profile x2)
I might be after a full-size Realforce now, as long as it's ANSI. Say, where in the world are you? Nowhere near Scotland, right?

Re: Deskthority has a new owner (again)
Sad story. I too just learned about the new owner.
Until few years ago I was quite active on GH. Back then I was aware of DT but just felt it was a bit of the same so I staid faithful to GH.
A couples of weeks ago after the said few years of absence. I decided to have a peek at GH to see how it ...

I tried to PM you but I got a nice "Forbidden, You don't have permission to access this resource." message.

Aesco A83 - KVM not registering double taps CTRL
I just got an Aesco A83, I installed A-HUB to upgrade the firmware to the latest version (1.6 something) and calibrate the keyboard.
The keyboard is connected to a KVM. The KVM make use of double taps to switch from one device to another.
Unfortunately, the KVM do not detect the double taps done ...

Not on the cheap side, but you may want to try the Aesco A67 or A63 with Inductive switches.

Any love for the Aesco A67/A83 Electric Induction switches?
I thought I was done with buying keyboards. I've been sober for many years. Even stop spending time on GH and DH. :-) Until I came across these Aesco A67/A83 with Electric Induction switches.

I wouldn't qualify Buckling Springs as mushy... But they are on the heavy and loud side.
(Unicomp had bad periods for QA. I don't know how they fare these days. My old units were good)

Most of the jokes are light-hearted and not to be taken seriously. :)
As for the above suggestion: some people on Reddit have already noticed the "last logged in from" reverse-DNS lookup and found the script kiddie's ISP, state and home-town. Definitely enough to file a complaint with. Did anyone ...

If the switch is tactile but not clicky, it's because the slider it not making it to the end of it's movement. Stopping just short completely silences the click. Slowing down before the end muffles it. It's actually quite delicate and I am not surprised at all that the quality is all over the place ...
