Depends.. Do you have information to share that we don't already have? I'm sure somebody would be willing to document things you say if the information is new and interesting.

Re: Cherry G80-1000HAY (C date code)

Now that’s more than a fair price for such a rare item. A pity I’m not buying keyboards anymore, I would have jumped on it at once. I would suggest you reserve it for a seasoned member like photekq :D I appreciate the thought as always! It's a lovely board at a very fair price, but I won'...

Re: [FS] 2 x NOS Arc Cherry G80 3000 Devlin Customized

I appreciate your honesty, i really do. I honestly cringe when i see custom keyboards going for 10k usd that are worth 400usd, and i know heaps of people that are ready to pay that price for a certain keyboard since it is rare. What i am saying is, if there is a keyboard of the same model in this c...

Re: [FS] 2 x NOS Arc Cherry G80 3000 Devlin Customized

I think you'll struggle to get 50USD for these. Nobody really cares about Devlin caps, especially not lasered/pad printed ones. The board itself is a newer G80 too, which doesn't have much to offer.

Maybe someone will pull the trigger though; who knows? But if I were you I'd temper my expectations.

They're the Olivetti dyesubs from an unknown manufacturer. MX mount, but stabilised keys aren't compatible with regular MX stabilisers.

Real talk, don't you miss the windows key? Also, I miss my 5k :(. Naw, I never used the windows key to...

One of the original brass Koalas. I've been told they were made in low quantities (I've heard different numbers, between 5-8) as a prototype run before the standard Koala. I'd be super interested in any other information anybody has! Pictured with a Cherry G81-3000SAT keyset mixed with a G81-3100SDU...

The seller's feedback isn't exactly great. Not sure what the description is on about either.. Bit dodgy considering it's listed as "New" condition when it clearly isn't. The sale takes place under exclusion of any guarantee, warranty and acceptance, only to businessmen or export trade according to §...

Re: Low profile Beamspring project

FreeCAD is quite usable. Considerably slower than commercial alternatives though. By slower I mean that there is still too much manual work which could be done automatically by the program (e.g. it does not guess the right constrains when drawing sketches). Also the OpenCascade (on which FreeCAD is...

Can I ask what kind of program are you using? I have some switches to design too. As in any update, your work is going wonderful. I would like to suggest something like an empanada mold to bend the beamsprings once they are cut, if you understand what I mean. https://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/MgwAAOSw...
