Didn't see anyone posting here about the new ThinkPad Trackpoint Keyboard II so looks like they announced it, but surprisingly missed this news.

I was thinking of this sort of stand :

But the stand would need to be larger to fit larger tablets ...

http://www.keyboardco.com/blog/index.ph ... rd-review/ Well filco have their bluetooth keyboard.

But I think a built in stand to hold tablets would be good also and maybe charge cable, fit a beefy battery into the keyboard so it doubles as a portable battery.

A small backspace is such a pain, it's not even worth considering, but then i often hate non-iso keyboards (excluding phone thumb boards).

I live in London, with the travel airports London is ideal but expensive, but Manchester has good transport links as well

I vote UK too.

Why don't we make the event more interesting like having a Guinness World Records we can beat, this will both get more people to come and also show off our keyboards and our non-qwerty speed :-)

Cherry made more ML keyboards than just the G84-4100 and G84-4400

I think last year they released a set of G84-5x00 range

Really good modification, maybe as an improvement, you could have places for the non-moving feet, so that they stay in place. The cable holder is a great idea, i don't know if its possible but being able to reroute the cable through the cable holder using an mini L-plug cable? probably not possible ...

Thinkpad edge keyboards have a more curvier keycap, chiclet keys are usually flat, mechanical keyboards are often curved so the finger presses the key in the centre to reduce the resistance. So by combining the two keycaps you'll get the edge keyboard. Otherwise, the Thinkpad keyboard uses a special ...

I find drinking less fizzy drinks helps as your finger has less tension. When I broke my arm(twice from football), I found using a trackball was more comfortable, I used a small Kensington Orbit which is much smaller than the expertmouse models.

Alternatively no one has considered a Wacom Digitizer ...

Just found out about this forum from geekhack of which i've been a member of some years.

I used to play Super Street Fighter many years ago, and for each player you needed 4 directional keys and 6 attack buttons per player, and we both played on the keyboard.
That would be say 2 directional keys ...
