I voted for ANSI. I used ISO for a long time but ANSI is simply better and more ergonomic, with easier to reach Enter and left Shift. I highly recommend you folks give ANSI an honest try, you are missing out both in ergonomics and in keyboard selection! I have more ANSI boards than ISO, and expect ...

Which leads me to black switches. I will be typing a lot for school, and I have heard nasty rumors about fatigue when typing long things on black switches. But could these anecdotes be over-exaggerated? If I recall, black switches have a similar actuation force as a buckling spring, but you don't s...

Last month I got a Devlin bank note tellers keyboard which has a Poker layout keyboard but in ISO style (i.e. real size transmit key) thick cherry 2shots and brown switches and an alu case. But its been lost by the post ...gutted. It was going to need some work as the case had a card reader and key/...

I have older versions of all the Tipro software (DOS win9x 2k etc.),
I cant remember the versions off hand but the CD's are from 2001.
When I get to them I will upload somewhere if still wanted.

One of my old irons cant cut it anymore with the new ROHS (think thats the right order for the letters) stuff. Great with my old lead laden stuff I have loads of. Be careful with the time if you have to leave it on there for a while, in case you transfer too much heat to other things Led's should be...

so is there a way to add a key there to ANSI-layout? sacrificing some other key maybe? No need to sacrifice anything controllers are (usually) the same, so the missing 105th key is just a missing coordinate in the keyboard's matrix.[/quote] So most of the controllers are the same ? I have been goin...

That viglen I got has Montereys. I also dont think my oranges (if they are) are in very good nick because the above post seems to say what I think. There is loads of side to side and the home row is very different to the F keys, but its got 2 shots. The board was covered with an inch of dust and I g...

I would like at least one set, cheers. ...and in your first post you say about broken stems, does that mean that you have sets that are short of keys ? I have a board that got damaged and lost a number of keys and switches and would be happy to take a short set off your hands depending on what you w...

The pokers we got in group buy 1 look different from the ones iMav got and the ones poker originally distributed. I don't know why, I never ordered anything different. My orange ALPS are are clicky and tactile, not in any way strong, but quite light, IIRC, been a while since I looked at them. But they dont look as bright as the ones in that link, I thought they were called salmon ??? ALPS fun. I have not long got another Viglen board (great big thing) that with th...

I think I have it sorted. But TBH I cant say 100% what fixed it, as I have cleared the cache and cookies more times than I can count. The problem was across quite a few boxes so not down to one browser even though I only really use Firefox/Palemoon (same ish code). The *nix boxes were just the lates...

Today is the first time I have been able to log in and not keep going round in a loop being asked to log in again and again, since ...well when ever I last posted. But there still seem to be a problem because it will sit there fine, but if I try to post anything as soon as I preview, or submit it se...

I anticipate lots of posts like this in the next couple of days as everyone gets to the 10 post limit: [...BS...] I have always thought it should be a word count thing ...as I often have low post counts on boards, but expect the number of words could be quite great. After using the Ducky for a few days now, and basically I feel the same way about it as I did the Filcos. Great 'board, but could use different caps. In reality, though, the caps aren't so bad, but I would prefer different legending. [...] I really like mine. I dont see the problems that others see...

I thought it was more about what does not cause any pain == the best place. I have always found that my keyboards end up at an angle to the front of the desk.
