Yeah the way I look at it is with the black mods and a black space-bar option people can then go an cannibalize any G81 board with MY caps and have a full set.

2mm will work fine with the switches, however it will not work with costar stabilisers. You will need to use cherry stabilisers. Costar spec is 0.06" (about 1.524mm iirc - so costars work with 1.5mm) Cheers for the info, I think I'll go with 1.5mm then for my first board. Will try 2mm in future but...
