and a Burroughs TD015

The switches and keycaps are the same as the TP110, so no pictures of those...

another Burroughs TP110
As suggested earlier, here some picts of the TP110 I recently acquired, probably from the same seller as where y11971alex got his: also pretty dirty due to ages of humid storage. The switches need cleaning and lubing, but they are certainly not a disappointment.. The picts speak pretty much for them...

I found a nice story about this keyboard, maybe it's interesting... http://techmediatainment.blogspot.de/2015/07/before-there-were-pcs-at-newspapers.html that is a beautiful keyboard ! I have a keyboard like the one in the top picture in that article; looks nice but rather crappy foam and foil swit...

Hi Jan, ah, interesting ! There's so few pictures of this thing and so little information online; now at least we know that Amtrak had quite a few of them.. ofcourse I do not really know and we can not see what is inside that terminal, but I would guess that is the same terminal as mine, perhaps wit...

thanks ! the cap that exploded was a hi-voltage one in the crt section. I really hope the large electrolytics will be ok enough, since there are quite a few of them ! hmm, good suggestion of the variac, I do have one in storage somewhere. Would that still make sense after already having switched it ...

wow, great auction, great keyboard, I hope you get it ! I am sorry, but I did not bookmark the source of that image, and now I do not know anymore. I remember it was some online repository of images having to do with the history of Burrougs. Not sure at all the date was mentioned on that site, even ...

was able to detach the keyboard-part and desolder a switch, so there are three pictures of the switch here; I did not see any way to take it apart without destroying it, so I didn't. After cleaning the stem the switch turns out to be very smooth and linear. They are reed-switches; I managed to actua...

Ha, I was wrong and was mixing up your 713 with the 617 which came out a few years after my 609. And then, when I checked, it turned out I was also mixing up your 713 with the 731 of which I found a manual online, and which is actually a few years older. So sorry, no manual for the 713 either as far...

All switches in this keyboard are made by Clare Pendar (was very happy it was not Keytronic or Hi-Tek, since I have a few of them in other terminal keyboards and don't like them much...) and they are all identical. I have not yet been able to open this beast further, so the only keys I have not chec...

Hi guys, have not been very active here in the past months, did acquire some nice keyboards in the last year or so, but just didn't find the time to take pictures and post them. But I did not want to deprive you of this most recent one: side_diag.JPG It is not a keyboard, but a terminal, and it was ...

Damn it. I successfully identified the main keyboard in Brainstorm (1983), but I posted it on geekhack a few years ago and it seems to have been lost in the rootworm hacking. I've totally forgotten which terminal it was now (and didn't expect to lose it), so now I want to identify it again. Anybody...

I'm impressed by your converters ! And they make me wonder why there is no lively trade in Alps-switches-to-CherryMX-caps-converters, given the greatness of Alps switches and the availability of all kinds of great Cherry keycaps.. Perhaps there is and I managed to miss it ? And I really like the kin...
