Hey Phenix, sorry for not posting an update. I've been real busy with work and relocation. My laptop which had all the data has died, I was able to recover the data recently but haven't had a time to sit down to assemble the board. It's been a tough couple of months.

Just wanted to chime in and say great work guys!

I really miss working on this project, alas too much work and constant relocation doesn't allow me.

It's not supported, I thought at the time that since just about all 1.5U mods are Ctrl/Alt, it didn't make sense having a third 1.5U key since there are few win or other logos for 1.5U mods.

If you need funds to get a new station/etc, I'd be happy to buy a PCB prototype if that would help at all. Really excited about this project. So my hot air rework station went kaput, so I had to wait for a replacement, it came, but I've had to move again (This is the fourth time in 10 months. :/)

Definitely options to consider.

Regarding the delay, on my side it's purely because of lack of time, I have been busy and disturbed due to work for the last couple of weeks. Also been having a generally bad run of luck of late in life.

I found QMK more straight forward to use than TMK, so you'll be fine!

Yup, sorry, 5 pins, GND, 5V, CLK, DATA and RESET. It's not like the TEX Yoda, where the solution is incorporated, mainly because there aren't any readily available parts to mount the trackpoint "module" directly to the board. Pins are there to ease the process of adding support, as it's already rout...

It's the 4 pinouts on the middle keys (where the split is) in row 3. Pullup resistors and resistor/caps required for connecting trackpoints harnessed from laptops can be soldered on the board.

I forget to label all of the pinouts and clearly point out the components for the "optional" features.

Mousepad isn't part of the keyboard. It's just a separate thing I'm making for my work station. That way it is easier to plug the multiple devices directly to my laptop at work/home.

I have provision for track-point on either sides; personally I'm not much of a trackpoint/trackball person.

Can confirm Matt's solution. Magnet wire is highly recommended.

Another reason we went for the ARM based solution was to reduce number of external components required, such as the crystal. Oh and it's cheaper too.

Can't comment on the shape of the peninsula right now, but there's no USB C top-mount connector that will fit, as they are all around 3.2mm in height. Mid mount will be our only choice.

Had a look at a bunch of USB Type-C connectors, most sit around 2.2mm above the PCB, to use the controller between the plate and the PCB, we'd have to use a PCB of 1.2mm thickness.

I don't think the gerber files or KiCAD project files were ever released for that board.
