I've got a Focusrite Scarlett 2, but ALSA doesn't allow me to change the volume on my Arch Linux box. Not sure what's going on there, whe I open alsamixer then it complains that it couldn't list all channels or couldn't interact with a mixing bus or something...

How about a solution consisting of two things:
an USB Audio Interface like the Behringer U-Phoria UMC202HD for € 63 (thomann.de)
and a separate class D amplifier like the Lepy LP-2020A HiFi Stereo Digital Power Amplifier Class D (ebay)

Are you using a remote-control release?
I found that even when using a tripod the pictures can get a little blurry when you press the release.

A real fun board is the Realforce 87 55g. I use this instead of the IBM SSK at home so I don't wake up my son when I program the night away.

Also there is the 1386033: which is the first version of the Model M keyboard. The 1386033 could only be used with terminals.

I concur The 1388032 was the first version of the Model M keyboard that can be used with a PC.

Don't get me wrong your 1986303 is absolutely legit. It just not that old. To my knowledge Lexmark was producing their keyboards on the same place and machines where IBM did. Some people switched from IBM to Lexmark without ever changing desks. Later ...
