I thought they had 80g springs like greens?

You must have it backwards OR imagine what the stock MX cherry 80g springs would do if the 65g were "pushing it"...stock clears don't stich

One thing to point out, from http://deskthority.net/wiki/Cherry_MX_Ergo_Clear ... It seems like if the spring is too heavy it can be "sticky"... have difficulty pushing the key back up. The wiki page suggests Korean (which the originative are) 55-60g springs. So maybe the 65 would be pushing it. Th...

Cheers for that Jefferai. Tempted by the 65g now. The 62g are almost identical to the Cherry MX blue, red, brown switches in their graph on the website. I've got stock brown and blue springs. I just want something a touch lighter without going full on stock clear spring.

On the topic of ergo-mods, does anyone know the difference between the 62g springs and 62g "limited" springs on originative's site. One is in stock and one isn't.

its a poker 2, this comes in a non=led version and I think they use the same PCB...so guess I can leave them out?

ah thanks, yes I can see inside which way around they are by the "wedge" shape of the internals. OK, its a standard poker 2 PCB so should be fine. Its just I took the LEDs off and they dont have the usual "long leg short leg" indicator for their polarity......both legs are the same length, so balls to figuring out which way round they go in. I will buy new LEDs at a later date

Guys, i've removed the LED's from my KB. Do I need to replace them after the switch swap (or put jumpers in place) or will the KB work with the LED solder points as broken connections?

Hi All, performing the ergo clear mod.... If I remove LED's from the PCB can I leave them out completely once the KB is finished OR do I have to put jumpers (or replace the LEDs) after swapping the switches. Basically will the broken connections where the LED's used to be make the keyboard not work ...
