Looking at $100 ish shipped. Yup more than a normal plate. Was actually finding it hard to source a Stainless Steel one in the UK. Initially wanted Stainless Steel to add weight to the keyboard as 60% are smaller and therefore lighter. Want to achor it to the desk better. Titanium will be lighter II...

Indeed! Titanium. Doing a big build. Well, actually rather small..... Ergo clear ISO 60% with Ti plate and low profile case and PBT caps.

If I were to get a local cutter to do one, I don't know what the difference is between these and standard plates "hole-wise." What is different about the holes in the plate for the switches which allows switch removal?

I don't know what the exact term is but I was wondering how the plates which allow switch top removal without desoldering differ from standard plates?

Can you mod a standard plate with a drill or file to allow the access or are they manufactured completely differently?

i got same problem here, what your solution Kneon? i buy new Ducky Shine 3 brown switches, got what your problem and go back to store change other keyboard but still like that, i play battlefield 4, hold shift+w to run suddenly can't move.. need to release and press "W" again to move.. help.. sorry...

poker 2 is plate mounted (IIRC it is the original poker which was PCB mounted only?) ...but I think the poker 2 PCB also has the switch support holes in it....so you can use PCB mounted switches...but they'd also be plate mounted.

Also, yeh I will probably lube them to try and prevent the "non-return" issue as best a possible. Is it dumb to use some ptfe based lube say for bicycles? If I do go for some 65g springs from Originative then it'd make sense to bung some lube in the order....thick lube or thin lube though? That is t...

Well if the brown springs that are currently stock on my poker are 44g and you used 55g blue springs and got the switch returning problem....i'm probably more likely to encounter the issue myself! Worrying! :p
