Had that Maltron on my watch list for a week now but I'd only buy it to resell so hopefully whoever bought it gets some good use out of it! I only posted it so I would not buy it myself ;) I allready have a kinesis contoured, I don't think I could learn yet another physical layout ... Which is at t...

No idea about SW.

For SD the really good ones are 3 pin and logic scan.

But I think all have been converted in one form or another by now.

Re: Great/Interesting Finds

For that rusted piece of poop, even 50 euros is a bit too high.... It's an authentic Beam Spring, hence at any price it's worth it. Would use it as a wall hanging once it's cleaned up and mounted properly. Very cherished art piece, worth far more to me than any Pollock or Hofmann. I have paid 80€ f...

Re: Are there any unconvertible switches left?

I'm not sure how much sense it makes to talk about switches as opposed to keyboards when it comes to conversion. There *are* converted Hall Effect keyboard. And some keyboards use both "pulse" (for alphas, to avoid rollover issues*) and "hold" switches (for mods), which reinforces my first point. * ...

Re: Help converting Zenith Data Systems to USB with Soarer's Converter?

Play with this: http://www.tmk-kbd.com/tmk_keyboard/editor/unimap You can make a hex file with this graphical editor directly. Hasu made TMK much friendlier for most of us when he developed Unimap. Even I can use it now! I will, but I'd nonetheless really like to understand how to modify they keyma...

Oh, that's a shame. Those waffle frame switches are never any good. They spoil what is otherwise a decidedly elegant looking board. The case design is very flash, and the caps are stellar. User afan invented a solution for the broken stems last year: https://deskthority.net/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=20317

Re: Univac Keyboard (Micro Switch)

Also this little code snippet works, however 1 in ~10 keypresses don't register. I did a little bit of research and found out that digitalRead() is actually quite slow. Is it possible that the code can't keep up with the short little pulse that the switch puts out? That is certainly possible, note ...
