just to be clear... you don't really need a plate on this kind of PCB, especially not an acrylic one. The plate is not held on the case, it's the PCB that it is.

There are a lot of eye candies in custom keyboards. I was in the same boat!

Before doing this, you need to plan if you go for:
- Handwiring with Teensy (or similar micro controller) and Plate
- PCB with or without plate
- What layout do you want: ISO, ANSI, US, International, QUERTY, Dvorak, etc ...
