Dubmood & Zabutom, I keep listening on dubmood's hour long remixes and live performances, until I need quiet for deep concentration. To me it seems zabutom brings the best out of dubmood, they seem to fit. I wish I could find more music by zabutom, or some list of good chip music, not something like...

I had a black M13 a long time ago, which worked fine with a powerbook using a USB converter. But, I think it was finicky on regular PCs, perhaps because the mac would give more power over USB than specified by the USB standard. I still have this problem today with some keyboards using PCs and laptop...

Necrobump! A bit of an update. I managed to snag one of these for 75 from ebay the other day, bargain as they're 500+ in the shops. http://cdn01.trixum.de/upload2/36800/36770/1/16e705f1bbcfce5b42ac0239c20886986.jpg I've been using it for about 4 days now and I absolutely love it! I think the main p...

Design is not open for debate or suggestion, it's something you provision to an artist. That artist might or might not delegate that task to one of his students, under his or hers guided supervision, but that is not up to you. The important thing to realize is that you're not the artist and you neve...

Could be a hammer stuck under its casing, so just open it and be extra careful mounting the bottom plate. Saves some time if you secure the plate with clamps before securing it by bending over the tab, because then you can flip the keyboard over and check that all keys are in working order (by tappi...

Necro-posting cause the keyboard went completely dead today. I wasn't about to send it back to Japan and deal with all that hassle so I decided to disassemble it and debug it on my own. First I tried to pry it open from beneath the keyboard but realized that the bottom plate is not fixed in place by...

I've had a lot of IBM / lenovo laptops in the past: a20 / a20m / a30 / X200 / X201 / X220. The keyboards have been getting worse since lenovo took over. In my opinion that's simply because lenovo is a Chinese company and in China the most important thing is money / cost. I know this since I've live...

Digitizer as replacement for mouse?
Check this out: http://www.braun-phototechnik.de/en/products/detail/~id.781/Graphic-Tablet-Tavla-12.html "A natural, easy-to-use replacement for a mouse or trackball. A creative tool that will make your PC a source of endless fun." That sounds like a done deal, except it would be a chore for me to t...

What if scrolling or clicking is the main cause of problem. Then if you use both hands you reduce the strain on a single hand by 50%. I don't think there is an ergonomic pointing device which reduces the strain by 50% when used by the same problematic hand/wrist. Just an example, Logitech Performan...

That seems like a juvenile shit advice to me, but allow me to explain why; Cured mouse problems for me. I'm convinced that most ergonomic mice are placebos, which actually tend to work because of an introduced side effect: variation. Variation is not only a valid cure against RSI - it is taking the...

After remapping the layout, I'm not using pinkies much and typing code is a lot more fluent. Mind sharing? Where did you get the μTron and how much did it cost? So trying out Topre keys would be good, alright. What about buckling spring? Would they be too hard to push? Not the buckling springs on Model F AT anyway, I've been typing on those from morning to night everyday for years and my fingers never complained. Can't say the same for Model M, it bothers ...

45g Topres are nice, you could try those. I've been using a μTron having 45g topre for a couple of months for programming. While the switches feels great (well some say they aren't, but I don't have anything to complain about, they're just soft and sweet to me), what really makes programming slick i...

I've not checked out the 3M vertical mouse, thumb buttons could be it though. So that's a good advice, changing to left side isn't a sound possibility (not a reluctance) since keyboards rarely are left sided, thus your possiblities are limited, and then even if they were not, it wouldn't lessen the ...
