Re: IBM Model M buckling spring switch bounce oscilloscope measurement

ah, very interesting! way to go guys!

While my measurements roughly square with zool's as far as total bounce time is concerned, I didn't see any actual bouncing. I guess I need to change some settings on the scope to see some actual bouncing?

Re: IBM Model M BT-USB controller conversion kits

Just a short update: finally, fellow member arakula has released a Windows binary of the (soon to be cross-platform) GUI he's been working on for quite some time now. If you would like to check it out, I've created a new thread in the Workshop section so that we can start testing and fixing bugs and...

Blusb universal BT-USB Model M controller cross-platform GUI and/or CLI thread

blusb_logo_alt3_shadow.gif Thanks to fellow member 'arakula', there's now a Windows GUI that renders configuration of the universal Bluetooth-USB-Hybrid Model M controller (Blusb, in short) intuitive and convenient. All revisions that have an M122 cut-out in the middle of the PCB and a 20x8 matrix ...

Re: DT Update Log and TODO

it goes without saying that the migration happens only if we can recover everything talking about recovery - how are the chances the older Marketplace threads can be recovered anytime soon? Honestly, I don't quite understand why this happened the way it did. There are some really old threads, s.a. ...

Re: DT Update Log and TODO

thanks for your efforts, I do appreciate it. The best solution would be to restore the original thread. If you can do that then please don't bother with a workaround. If not it doesn't matter since all the posts by members and users are gone anyway and that's what really made it useful. Well, a wiki...

Re: DT Update Log and TODO

Hey matt3o, I appreciate your and everybody else's efforts to maintain and develop DT but I'm totally dissatisfied with the new layout, this place starts looking more and more like Geekhack - and I hate Geekhack, it's excruciating, I can't find anything on there by looking at the thread list. This would be very tempting to do actually, particularly if they have the full length plastic rivets - could trim them, drill them and melt some threaded inserts into the posts then some nice chrome plated truss head bolts from the baseplate. haha, that's the spirit! you're out of your nut... if yo...

one thing that didn't cross my mind when we were discussing that problem earlier: why not get a replacement frame from Unicomp and salvage the retention clips for the stabilizer bars from your old frame and then just glue them onto the new one? you could also make your own out of leftover plastic or...

[WTD] decent hardware USB low/full speed protocol analyzer, new/used

Hey guys, I'm the fella behind the Blusb BT-USB-Hybrid controller project. The current design is based on an Atmel ATXMEGA32 MCU and, as far as the USB interface is concerned, Atmel's ASF USB stack. Some people over at avrfreaks.net claim that all ASF stuff is trash and that the guys who wrote the c...

My experience is that people seem reluctant to pay a fair fee for the service, yet are unwilling to do it themselves. Therefore, few people want to offer to take on a project like that for hire, while it might seem like an enjoyable distraction when doing it for themselves. Yeppers, that's pretty m...
