The realforce hits the road again :D Tracking here . You have to insert the tracking number ADCM5NG, click on "aggiungi codice" (add code) and then click on "esegui la ricerca" (search). I want to thank 002 and everyone that made the tour possible :) Really nice keyboard in terms of comfort and ergo...

And I find it a waste of energy to have a stronger push after the actuation point. I mean, the job is done, just collapse and stop bugging my fingers :D Sounds like you're a prime candidate for a beam spring, because that's EXACTLY what they do. So I just need to connect one of these to my laptop a...

I said "a bit" lighter, probably I should have explained better. Maybe it's just that I'm not used to MXs, but I feel the springs are pushing my fingers away too hard after the first 2mm, where the spring is more compressed and it reaches 50 to 60g. And I find it a waste of energy to have a stronger...

So here we are. I was kind of disappointed at first. I don't know what I was expecting, maybe Jesus appearing before my eyes or something XD It's nice. The switches are lighter and smoother than I thought, I was expecting something a little bit more tactile and snappy, but i guess there is a limit o...

Where are you from? Maybe you could ask someone living in your country and already on the list to have a phone interview and vouch for you...jou wrote: ↑But most of those posts were made after the OP. I didn't have enough post when this thread started.

Oh boy. There's a lot of hokey folk wisdom out there about what things feel like what else. I wish there wasn't! People are full of good intentioned horseshit. There is no such thing as a regular rubber dome over membrane keyboard that feels like a Topre. It can't: you have to bottom it out to regi...

It depends what you mean by "light" tbh. If you mean it as the opposite of "stiff", as in pertaining to how much force is needed to actuate the switch, Alps are actually fairly stiff, at least compared to most MX switches. Alps are wonderful, but if you push the switches only very lightly, they mig...

If you don't like MX, you could try out Alps. Blue Alps are my favourite modern-ish* switches. They're light, very tactile and clicky, and feel great. Tactile and clicky MX do nothing for me, so maybe you'd like them too. I use linear MX because they're the best compromise to put my pretty keycaps ...

(mis)adventures of a keyboard noob
Hi everyone. I've been reading on deskthority for quite long now (last September, if I remember correctly), but I never posted anything relevant and now I feel it's time for introducing myself and sharing my experience with keyboards so far. My name is Rob (Roberto actually), I'm a computer science ...

I'm from north Italy and would be interested, I never had the chance to try topre switches. BUT I don't have enough posts. I'm a computer science student, Last summer I got interested in mechanical keyboards and such and I joined deskthority and geekhack. I learned everything I know about keyboards ...
