Looking for a black IBM KB-8923 in very good / lightly used condition. I'm in the UK so local would be good!

Looking for a board in the 101 layout, condition not so important. Also have a number of interesting boards to trade.

Great looking boards there. I'm a fan of the switch too - I have an EAT-1010 (NOS) and an AK1012, plus a couple of Sejin SKM-1030 keyboards.

Have you noticed any inconsistency in clickyness in the switches on any of the boards?

Nice work! I'm also a fan of the futaba clicky switch. There was a discussion a while back about the tactility of these switches. I've found on all boards that the switches are inconsistent in terms of sound / tactility, and that they seem to lose their 'click'.

Yes I have lots - the quantities in the first post are mostly accurate.

Is the OP up to date? I'd like some Alps keys in other languages, but it would be somewhat costly to get shipped here I'd think.

I've updated the quantities. I may have a few more Belgian beige ones as some of the boxes were mislabelled. I may be willing to send keycaps only, though I'm not sure ...

Scratchiness of switches confirmed and everything - I think I'm going to call them SKCM Uncertain Blacks, as they don't have any character :) - ... what can one do regarding that poorly built spacebar, which is worse than every spacebar ...

If the switches in the green Alps ZKB-2 are in decent condition, would like that one.

Great board, I love the stabilised control keys as they are prone to binding on many Alps boards.

Yes they are peerless switches but they are surprisingly good when new.

Yeah they are really fragile.
There are a total of 13 on the keyboard and 5 of those are broken.

The top case was still firmly attached to the bottom case so I'm wondering if I should replace them or not.
If I do, some kind of bolt mod is a better idea than trying to ...

They are all AT101W - all with windows keys.

The M2 is like the AK47 of Model M boards. You can take the whole thing apart very easily, and it's not difficult to reassemble once you've done it the first time.

You get the best parts of the M (same hammers / springs, PBT caps - in a lower profile), with a compact footprint and full size layout ...
