I'm with you Ninhalem, i have three leds on my keyboard and i want to have each layer (FN) to light the leds when activated, and i'm still experimenting with it.
What i have so far is not great but i think it can be done, i'll share my code once (if) it works.

Halvar,

I am actually very very happy right now as your code does work and it compiles perfectly and both rows work as they should.
You made my day Sir, a thousand Thanks to You.

Hi, I've been trying to make a very simple 5X2 matrix on a breadboard as a test before building my keyboard http://i.imgur.com/TuvqS3s.jpg Now i have spent 8 hours straight trying to understand why i can not get the second row (lower) to work, i mean no key is outputed on the screen, but row number ...

First thing i'd like to say RolfMonster is how good this RGB led implementation of your looks! Honestly i was expecting more like a "capslock" kind of RGB led at the top of the keyboard but this, is even better than a LCD as you almost have the entire area of the keyboard that can give you visual fe...

Hey RolfMonster, I've been studying your code, and thanks again for sharing it, i must admit that i'm not as good with C as you are. The thing is, i want to use a RGB LCD to output layer number as a color (and may be custom layer names later) so of course i'm really really trying to understand how y...

I just found out about your project vvp and i can't tell you how impressed i am. I totally agree that it looks like the best of both the erdgodox and Kinesis advantage. May i ask you how much programming knowledge you had before starting this project? I m asking because i am close to a noob and i wo...

I have since made new ones located here https://github.com/BathroomEpiphanies/KiCAD-Keyboard-Tutorial I probably should update that in the new KiCAD format as well, but that may still not be a stable release.. It's much nicer though. I registered just to ...
