Re: Brand New F62 Kishsaver / F77 Industrial Model F's made this year

Ellipse, have you got a working prototype? I am wondering what happens if the keyboard doesn't work? Since I've heard that the capacitance values are very different even if you change the case by a little...

Edit: I mean, I'm very excited but this thought just popped up in my mind.

Re: Topre sliders, MX caps

It appears that JTK has already got topre sliders. I'm waiting for the first batch which should ship end of the month, I think. And from the group buy it seems they're only $15 or so for a set of 104...

Re: Brand New F62 Kishsaver / F77 Industrial Model F's made this year

Vizir - I am trying to make the powdercoating like on the original 4704 keyboards. Here's an example of the F77 texture and original color. The white balance is off in this photo. For the gray color I hope to approximate RAL 7030 gray like in the Kishsaver of a fellow DT member: http://deskthority....

Would it be possible to see the powder coating and the brushed/anodized colors? I think a visual might help, if it is possible.

If this venture is successful, I'm thinking making designs like in the renders would be possible. Perhaps someday even a split ergo. :o

Re: Brand New F62 Kishsaver / F77 Industrial Model F's made this year

It's not just the mount height and style. The geometry of the caps are substantially different. The IBM caps are actually somewhat rectangular and the key top is offset. The solution is limited to factory OEM caps or specific aftermarket caps for the IBM buckling spring. OEM style caps can be sourc...

$215 for the 55g 87u with one each of the pbt spacebar colors. $205 for the variable force 87u with one each of the pbt spacebar colors.

I agree! Although, IMO, the hhkb jp layout with smaller space and more keys is even better.

Re: TMK keyboard firmware collection

I'm only adding them to the makefile. The files get compiled into .o objects then they are also linked at the end, I think. I'll post the output of the make when I return home. I am not calling any functions. Not even including the .h files. I can post the code if you want to take a look.
