I love your switch opener dude! Also sucks that the M key didn't work, but I do have a few contact leafs sitting around in one of my trays if you end up needing one.

Re: [WTB/WTT] IBM Beamspring 3278 A02 or 3279

So I was the one who bought the keyboard. If it makes you feel any better, there never was a keyboard to be had. The seller is listing all of his ebay auctions on Chinese sites as well. Even though I bought the keyboard, the seller canceled my order a couple hours later, before money had even left ...

Re: [WTB/WTT] IBM Beamspring 3278 A02 or 3279

Was about to but no. The seller looks fishy, shipping costs were crazy (400US$ wherever the destination) and the guy keeps posting and reposting the same auctions. I asked more pictures of it, he never replied, I waited till too late. Craziest thing was I almost click the button, but to much variab...

Would rather see the REAL creator of this keyboard and his name Ellipse . Hence I shall never disregard all his efforts by using another, failed company's insignia. Don't ever, pay respects to LAZY-ass cretins who walked away from the Model-F design and construction, on American Soil. Will instead ...

Thanks! Sure, I'll probably just zip them and upload them to github. I honestly don't think I can be bothered setting up git on a Windows machine (I'm doing most of my work on a PC, but I use Linux for git and MCU flashing). Again, no point in doing that before the QMK Configurator is set up. And I...

JLC would probably do a great job making it, and I bet kelvinhall could design it for jack.

Who are JLC and kelvinhall? Are they members?
I was referring to JLCPCB, and kelvinhall is a member who has designed PCB's for other keyboards.

Re: [WTB] 3101 Beamspring barrelplate, backplate and PCB

Best chance for PCB would be to have a new one designed or printed. For barrelplate and backplate, would also probably need to get them machined. Unfortunately getting the parts for the restoration might be difficult. Where would you recommend as far as designing/printing new PCBs? JLC would probab...

Re: Stuff you just bought

Anyhow, I'm going to post in the Marketplace to get two new keys -- the Y, IIRC, was hanging there by a thread and I don't know if glue will help. If I can get blank grey caps, I'd be happy. It also has two bad switches: obviously the 9, but there was another stem cracked on one of the keys for the...

I'm actually not sure how to troubleshoot this then as there is no nondestructive way to access to reset pin.

I would contact who you bought it from and explain the issue to him.

Not sure how to update it. I downloaded tmk, but I don't know how to use that either. Does that work with my converter? It's from tinkerboy. Like mentioned, I am clueless right now. What soarer converter do you have? Is it one of the adapter ones from Orihalcon or are you using a pro micro/Teensy?

Are you using the latest soarer config? Also before messing with soarer's too much I would try TMK. The terminal_usb or xt_usb should work.
https://github.com/tmk/tmk_keyboard/tree/master
I would say its a membrane issue but since it works fine on your terminal that is doubtful.
