Re: Another single-switch circuit board
If anyone knows a decent source for solid-core ribbon cable, that would be great.
I think this is a solid core product:

These definitely are:

Re: Another single-switch circuit board
Loving the look of the Amoeba Royale & King!
Does anybody know if JLPCB will mount the SK6812MINI-E as a part of their service?
Thinking about ordering a set (or 10) of these sweet little units & it seems like right now it's go your own with a PCB manufacturer...

will be looking into this a bit over the next few days!
I do have a question - my RepRap chap will be printing in PLA - do you think that's likely to cause any grief?
timing is quite good - month end will be done with tomorrow so I'll have a couple of weeks I can think about things at work without ...

So - it looks like this might be the best switch drop since I started following the Katy project...
Massdrop Gateron Buy
Clearly they will be more than enough units to do a whole Katy Kbd.
What do you think?

I asked the support guys if they can supply with headers on:
I don't normally install headers, so that the user can decide which side to mount them on. If you would like them soldered, I can do that (no charge). I also have angled headers in stock, if you need.

Do you think it would be hard to put backlighting under the keys?
If I do go to the effort of building out a custom keyboard (And I'm FAST becoming unhappy  with a standard kbd!) I think I would want the keys backlit - I use my PC a lot late at might - and would FAR rather have the light off ...
