Value: dunno. I like these boards, especially with montereys. But the caps feel chintzy. It's not quite a classic.

According to the wiki, the Japanese layout is K111. The English layout is K110. :) Been looking ...

Recently got a Monterey K111 (Unbranded Siig Minitouch) with Monterey Blues. It's fairly used and yellowed, but I cleaned it all up and it feels great. Any idea how much I could get for this if I decided to sell it? I kinda miss 'clicky' keyboards after moving to Topre ...

Perhaps Hyper did when developing these rings. Gotta remember that EK is half the world away from most of us here, and those landing pads become highly expensive to get hold of, and then there's still all the ironing to do! Not exactly appealing.

At long last, I have found the time to complete my testing of the silencing rings. I am satisfied that they work at least as well as the rings used in the silent version of the RF 87U and the Type-S HHKB Pro 2.

Does anyone know why my IBM Model M has a white plastic interior? Of all the dismantling and cleaning videos/guides I've seen, all IBM Model M's have black plastic insides. Here's a picture I took. It's not very clear, but you can see that the inside isn't black.
