As there's no further damage to be done since I've already scrubbed the GON firmware ;) I went ahead and did this...:

I just delved into this as the Mac/OSX lag relegates the GON to my storage cupboard.

I just flashed a Teensy'ed Dell AT101W with Soarer's Converter and decided to build an Emacs mode for it, I have syntax highlighting but still need to figure out indentation rules. It's not ready for use yet, which is why I'm just tacking this info on the end of this post.

Oh, NKRO mode is the problem on Macs... maybe I don't need to doing anything radical with the firmware after all.
