I'm not a huge fan (no pun intended) of "aircraft carrier" keyboards, but that's hot.

I bet those open switches were susceptible to dust. Still, I bet they were a better low-profile switch than the MLs.

While I don't feel the need to be uber-private (I'm squeaky-clean legally speaking), I am not a big fan of the idea of cloud storage. I would rather have my backups in a little more "tangible" state even if it's just for speed's sake.

It might not be pad-printing after all. Talking it over with Ripster, it might be a form of laser-etching with infill. Using a magnifying glass, it appears that they laser-etched the legend, then pad-printed the "infill" over it.

My spacebar, oddly enough, isn't lopsided (it might look that way in my pic, because I was a little to the left of the 'board when I took it). I just got the Ducky-9008 PBT, and despite all the bad press Ducky got on the 'Hack, it's a pretty nice 'board. It seems to be about as heavy as the Filcos, and has a similar feel.
